Landing Page Design, Logo Creation and Branding Brief
The project brief from TurboRod Ltd was to create a unique Landing Page design to showcase their Septic Tank services in Wicklow and surrounding area.
TurboRod Ltd provides domestic and commercial water waste solutions. They also service and maintain septic tanks. The main aim of the project was to create a bright, eye-catching design, to encourage high conversion rates and be competitive within a busy sector.
TurboRod Ltd also wanted to highlight their 24hr emergency service and make it easy for clients to contact them to available of this service.
Furthermore, the project brief also involved the design and creation of a logo, together with company branding which. The logo and branding was to be effective on both the landing page and on the wrapping of TurboRod’s fleet vehicles.
Landing Page Design, Logo Design and Branding Project Delivered
Eclipse Web Design & Development worked closely with TurboRod Ltd to deliver a newly designed responsive Landing Page together with commercial Logo, tagline and Branding.
Approaching the project the client was unsure about what they wanted with regard to both the logo and landing page design. The only design instructions we received were 'make it orange and green'.
Logo & Branding Design
When conceptualising the logo we decided it would be best to keep it simple and clear. The logo needed to be effective as it was also going to be used on the company's fleet of vans and trucks.
Following the clients instructions we used orange and green for the colouring on both the logo and the branding. The orange for a striking primary colour. The green as the contrasting colour.
To make the logo stand out and to highlight the 'Rapid' part of the tagline, we gave the 'o' in Turbo a sense of movement and drama.
The Landing Page Design
The landing page was built using WordPress for the content management system. The build involved HTML5 and CSS3 custom coding. There was also custom built widgets. These widgets were designed to fit in with the company’s branding and bring uniformity to the page.
The landing page is fully optimised, responsive and works across all devices. The addition of clear CTAs (call to action) buttons will help with click-through and conversion rates.
